Moloka'i is a quiet place for careful work that turns into famous Moloka'i crafts, known for their quality and the use of native materials.

Ka Hula Piko, the annual celebration of the birth of hula, is an excellent place to see and purchase Moloka`i Crafts-beneath the shade trees of Papohaku Beach Park. Ka Hula Piko will be held next May 16.

When visiting Moloka'i at a different time, check such stores as Big Wind Kite Factory, Coffees of Hawai'i, Laughing Gecko and the studios of individual artists who are named by the photos of their crafts on these pages. For more information, call the Moloka'i Visitors Association at 800-800-6367 or (808) 553-3876.
